As a Nubian Queen and make-up artist Sethu's philosophy is simple – make-up should be natural, quick and enhance your already beautiful features without the hassle or mess. Her make-up products give clients a flawless boost of confidence that allows them to show up as their best authentic self. Nubian cosmetics is for the everyday person inclusive of all genders and races while embracing their flaws and being comfortable in their own skin.
Sethu hosts monthly and private master classes that focus on how to apply make-up and choose the perfect shade for you. She is available for bookings which include maternity shoots, weddings, corporate events, and all other events that require a make-up artist.

Sethu Mehana is a qualified Make-Up Artist, Founder and Chief Fabulousity Officer at Nubian Cosmetics.
Originally from Mdantsane, East London in the Eastern Cape, she discovered her passion for make-up in 2012 while working for a corporate company as a marketer.
Similar to the everyday woman, she spent years struggling to find the perfect foundation shade, often being advised to mix two shades in order to find the perfect match – this exercise soon became too costly and artificial. Sethu realised something needed to be done in order to ensure no-one feels left out and everyone had to be catered for, when it comes to finding their shade of foundation.
Sethu Mehana registered her Diploma in Make-up artistry and started formulating a shade that catered for her own skin tone first – through the compliments she received on her flawless natural looking make-up, her passion grew further and the vision to cater for every skin tone and shade became bigger and Nubian Cosmetics was born, and so was the perfect shade for YOU.
